Beyond the heritage façade of Brisbane's iconic Stanley Restaurant at Howard Smith Wharves lies Stan's, a moody cocktail bar tucked away on the venue's uppermost level.
Samantha Leigh Interiors (SLI) was engaged to transform what was previously a dining room into a late-night, stand-alone cocktail lounge. A rich palette of emerald greens and deep red tones, provide a dramatic backdrop for the jewel of the space, the oriental lacquered bar and aged mirrored back of bar. Alongside the bar, the oversized DJ booth is surrounded by custom shelving boasting the venue's impressive vinyl collection.
SLI custom-designed every piece of furniture for the venue, collaborating with skilled artisans to bring individually designed items to life. The secluded private room features hand-painted mural walls and a large, wraparound velvet sofa. Mirrored and aged brass tables are paired with emerald velvet stools, providing a sumptuous escape in the heart of the city.
